Terms

Pick it up for Vic is a free community project run by Hayden Bruinsma in Australia.

Accounts and age

You must be 16 or older to create an account. If you’re under 16, you can take part with a parent or guardian using their account, with their permission and supervision. You can also take part without an account.

What you post

You keep ownership of your words and photos. When you post them, you give Hayden Bruinsma a non-exclusive permission, without payment, to store, copy, resize, re-encode, check, moderate and show them as needed to run the project. A public post can be shown to anyone. A private post is not shown to other community members, but a moderator can inspect it if the automated check holds it for safety. This permission ends when you delete the post or your account, apart from short-lived backups or anything the law requires us to keep.

Only post material you have the right to share. If another person can be identified, make sure they agree before you post it. The community guidelines are part of these Terms.

Moderation

We can review, remove or hide content, restrict an account, or act on a report to protect the community and apply these Terms. Moderation is a judgement call and may not happen immediately. Please report anything that breaks the guidelines.

Your safety

Choose activities that are safe for you and follow local instructions. The project is not an emergency service and does not replace advice from emergency services, councils, health professionals or other authorities. Do not put yourself or anyone else at risk to make a post or earn points.

Safety first

Points

Points are an estimate for friendly community participation. They can be corrected or removed when a post is checked or moderated. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged.

Changes and contact

The project may change or stop, and these Terms may be updated. Material changes will be shown here. Questions: hbruinsma@atlas-ai.au
