Safety first
Leave needles and syringes where they are, and report them to your local council.
Don’t pick up broken glass with bare hands, and keep away from roads, cliff edges and water.
Wear gloves if you can, and wash your hands afterwards.
Never pick up needles or syringes, chemicals, leaking batteries, sheeting that could be asbestos, or dead animals: report them to your local council.
